I have two kids, wife, mortgage, student loans. I make a good living, but because of my history of opiate abuse I simply can't get term life insurance (or any life insurance.) I've been denied multiple times by all the top companies.

I was on Suboxone for 10 years, but have been off for almost 2 years, and a script check will show I am 100% clean. I passed all health exams, blood tests, drug-alcohol screenings etc.

Should I just give up at this point? I am now a model member of society. I am in good health, and make a good living. Never had a felony or arrest. Unfortunately I have a "checked box" that will hurt me forever from getting term life insurance.

I totally understand why they would deny me. I'm in a high risk category, it's a business.

Do I have ANY options? Any advice would be awesome!
