My current go to jacket for spring/autumn is http://ift.tt/2lITMoP and I've had it for 7 or 8 years, but the wear is becoming obvious now.
I was bitten last year when I bough a torrentshell from Patagonia, and on my first mountain trip it started to peel and leave black residue on me :|. I though it was dirt at first, but no, the jacket just dissolved on me.
