Background: After doing some research and searching around (example), I think I've found "the pan": Demeyere Atlantis. It's like a souped-up All-Clad with some very nice design touches (e.g. no rivets, much better handles).

Most of what I've read is a few years old, though, so I wonder if anything new has since come onto the scene, or if there are other brands I'm not aware of that sit in the same tier as Demeyere Atlantis. (Apart from maybe de Buyer Prima Matera - but IMO it trades off way too many features just for the sake of better responsiveness.)

Thoughts? Is this the summit of stainless pans?
