THIS is the cardigan in question - excuse my weird dressing room picture.
I was looking for a black cardigan anyway, have been for ages, and in sifting through the racks I saw the Valentino tag. I mean I've never seen one before in my life until today but I recognized the name immediately. I thought I was seeing things, but the price tag doesn't lie either. It's not something I would ever ever consider buying at full price, but a good quality cardigan in a nice cut is totally worth $60 for me, since I have a short torso and short arms and most of them make me look weird.
I can't find this exact style online anymore but I saw similar cardigans listed at $600-$1000, TJ Maxx tag says $800! (Those things are sometimes off but this price seems to be right on based on what's currently and recently available!) If it were actually $800, I got it for just 7.5% of it's original retail value!
Probably the best TJ Maxx deal I'll ever find, ever. I will probably be the only one that knows it's Valentino but oh well, I'll feel fancy. Werk.
