Hello allMy 10 year-old balcony decking (and handrail) has turned rather green recently (see photos). I live in a flat (UK) on the third floor. The flats below me don't have balconies.There are lots of tutorials about how to clean and varnish but not much information on how to do this at height.There are gaps in between the planks - how do I protect the walls below? Do I need to clean and stain the wood from underneath (which would require some sort of platform)? Do I need to pressure wash the wood beforehand?Any advice or tips would be appreciated.
