As a preface, I should say that I am not a practicing Christian, but I do make an effort to incorporate beliefs from many religions and philosophies in my own spirituality. I am also not promoting Christianity in any way; I simply found a verse (quote?) while flipping through the Bible that I thought would fit in well in this subreddit. Few might read this post, and more might downvote this because of the Christian theme, but oh well. It has to do with being content with very little.

Anyway, the verse is from 1 Timothy 6:6: "After all, we brought nothing with us when we came in this world, and we can't take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothes, let us be content."

Ironically, I found this verse while flipping through it, deciding if I should donate it along this month's donation dump.
