Not really interested in fx trading, but as a person who invests in foreign currency stocks it is of course a factor. For example my account denomination is CHF and I invest in the Ftse. Didn't invest last year, but 2016 would've been a bad year as although the ftse rose, the gbp/chf tanked, and so when I eventually closed the trade it wouldn't have made anything, probably lost money.

Which currencies do you think will do well in 2017? Which do you think will do poorly?

Personally I like the SEK, and I'm starting to warm to GBP now. Both are cheap with upside potential. I think too much risk is already priced in to gbp.
