Thanks in advance for advice. Over the course of the last 2-3 months, the hot water in my apartment has gone out 4 times for a grand total of 31 days without any hot water. The landlord was extremely slow in getting this taken care of - often times I would call to follow up 3 - 4 days in and hear "Oh that's not fixed yet?" It was not until the 4th time that they actually finally replaced the tank.
The lease states explicitly states "The landlord will repair the plumbing, heating, and electrical systems." I just spoke to the landlord requesting they waive one month's rent since there was over a month where I had no ability to bathe in my home. His response, not shockingly, was "absolutely not." Do I have any ground to stand on here?
