Currently I am considering buying Vanguard Small Cap Value to go along with my Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund. I like the greater exposure to small caps and am willing to tolerate a little more risk. Would this be a suitable move or is it pointless since the Total Stock Market Index contains some of the same stocks?
