Hi guys, I'm new around here. Please be gentle.
I am moving into a new house for 2 years and will need a "Mattress + Bed Frame" for one.
The Mattresses I've slept on before this (as low as 10$), have frequently been described as a rock, by many people. As you would expect my knowledge of Mattresses is pretty much none.
I have had some upper back pain problems (as a guy in his early 20s....) and have finally decided to splurge. As funny as some of you would consider this, my definition of splurging only goes as far as 100$.
Here are my requirements:
- Country : USA
- Bed frame + Mattress for:
- Size: Enough to accommodate 1 guy sized 6 feet.
- Life time: Use for 2 years, then throw
- Firmness: I have no idea of this. Just don't want to get too sweaty.
Some questions:
- What size of Bed (Twin / Full) would be appropriate for 1 person ?
- Is there any bare minimum quality for bed frames that I must abide by ? (I might buy a very cheap frame and spend more on a good mattress)
- What is your opinion about Craigslist (never used it before)
- Is there any way for me to fit a full sized bed in that budget, or should I stick with twin size ?
P.S:
- I am really unaware of what a good mattress arrangement looks like. (the foam/ frame/ support...I am lost)
- My budget is as low as it looks. Spending any more will not be possible
- I will most likely throw it away in 2 years. So good quality + smaller life span would be ideal.
- There is are branches of Walmart, Target and Home Depot within a couple of miles of where I live.
