Hi all,
Looking to buy myself a new chair, after trying some out I decided on the Steelcase Leap.
The place I'm buying from has loads of second hand Leaps, all the same colour, however when I had a closer look I noticed they're different. Though they were all Leap v1s (as far as I can tell, none of them had adjustable lumbar support), some of them had rounded armrests and more padding, and some of them had flat armrests and thinner padding.
I didn't get much time to study them for differences, those were the main two. However, I did check that there was no lumbar support bar on either.
Doing a bit of research, I couldn't find any reason for the difference. If I were to guess, I'd say the flat armrest model is a refresh of the v1 before the v2 came out, I have no idea though...
Does anyone know why this is, and which is the better buy? I'd like the chair to last for 5 years+, so I'd like to get the better version. Thanks :)
