Hopefully this is the right place to post this. I'm in a bit of a tuff situation. I'd really like to move out of my parents home, but with my current job I can't afford much. Although my living conditions at home are pretty solid, I'm sick of living under my parents roof. My parents and I get into arguments a lot (I won't go into detail) and that's becoming quite the nuisance. Also, I have a girlfriend I'd like to have over but my parents don't support our relationship as she is not the same religion as me. So these things are pushing me to move out. The issue is, as I mentioned above, my job won't support much. Currently I am looking for a better paying job but in the meantime I'm looking for some ideas for cheap living arrangements. Also, if you think I should suck it up and just live with my parents to save money then I'd like to hear your case as well.
Side notes: Don't have any friends for roommates (anyone have success finding good rommates online?). Also my girlfriend is going to college across state and is also not an option to move in and help with bills.
TLDR: Can't stand living at home anymore so I want to move out, but I have a tight budget. Looking for cheap living arrangements (in metro Detroit area) that aren't permanent as I may need to relocate for a new job.
