I'm not anti consumerism but I love the idea of being able to leave my house at any time, go anywhere and feel complete. I'm looking for suggestions and improvements but really just wanted to share. After 36 years on this planet I think I'm getting close to my goal.

Bags:

Clothes

  • Golf Polo's (Great for business causal needs)
  • Running T's (Awesome base layer and casual wear)
  • V-Neck T's (For going out. Keep it cheap. Expect to replace as they wear out. Something like (this)[http://ift.tt/2kaaA6V])
  • Columbia Pants (Polyester is key. I have bigger thighs and love to walk. These really last. Use them for everything. Gardening. Business Meetings. Whatever. No crotch blow out! Very breathable. Link)
  • Underwear is JKY by Jockey. Just as good as ExOfficio at less than half the price. Granted only time will tell but I own both. Link
  • Shoes - Merrell Vapor Glove 3
  • Rain: (Diamond Candy rain coat) [http://ift.tt/2jj6pXO]
  • Kinda Cold: Nothing special here. Light jackaet, scarf, gloves, hat.
  • Socks: Whatever is cheap. I like to jump rope in my socks so I go through them.
  • Really Cold: Smart wool base layer, heavy coat. (I also started doing the Wim Hof method to help need less during the winter I also make sure I walk to work [2 miles] regularly in each season to adjust). I hope I wont need the heavy coat with more practice.
  • Bellroy slim wallet.
  • Ninja Wallet
  • (SOG Key Knife)[http://ift.tt/2ka8Jz0]
  • (Maui Jim Sunglasses)[http://ift.tt/2jiZaiW): Got these at an REI yardsale for $20. Having owned them for 6 years I will 100% buy again even though they are pricey.

Tech

  • Dell XPS 13
  • Nexus 5x
  • Samsung Gear S2 (This thing has been great. They keep sending out impressive updates. Sleep monitor, all day heart rate, makes a great alarm clock. Can't live without it for timing workouts and cooking. Never use it for smart watch notifications.)
  • A few cables and chargers.
  • A usb drive for doc sharing.
  • A portable hard drive for whatever.

Exercise

  • Jump rope
  • wrist and ankle weights for shadow boxing. Note: Usually strip down to the underwear when I travel and do stuff in the hotel for a work out. Combine with an hour long walk with an audio book and it matches my home life pretty well. sink wash the underwear.

  • Note: I own a home and enjoy all that affords. Home office with dual screen monitors. I enjoy the contrast between the 'home' I've built and my 'core self'. If anything were to happen to my home I feel more comfortable in being able to get back to my core self very quickly and focus on caring for my family.

Thanks for reading. I'll be back to clean this up. Might turn it into a a github gist for easy sharing.

Thoughts? Recommendations?
