So Betterment just raised their fees from .15% to .25% and I was already on the fence about "is Betterment worth the extra fees?" I tended to fall in the "For me, sure" category but now that the fee is even higher I feel it's time to make a switch.
I've got just over 100k in investments with Betterment and I'm thinking about moving them into a Vanguard fund. From everything I can gather, that's the place for me as I'm not a trader, I'm looking to maximize return for retirement with as little effort as I can manage.
Any advice on how I should make that switch? Or alternative advice? I'm considering either trying to match my Betterment portfolio over on Vanguard or finding new mutual funds to diversity into.
