I am 16 right now but I am starting to look at colleges and what I am going to do after high school. I do not have a good relationship w my parents but they are offering to pay for college. I think I am going to decline because I do not want to live by there rules I want to be able to do what I want as an adult (like get piercings and tattoos) If I take their money they will expect me to not only live by there rules but also come home when they say and I have to chose a college on the east coast which I don't really want. But I am very worried to be completely on my own. I know how I am paying for college (I am joining a military branch after undergrad school) but I don't know how I will do other things like pay for a phone bill, pay for car insurance, idek if I will have a car, how will I pay for one, how will I buy basic needs like shampoo conditioner. I will obviously get a job but will I be able to go to school and fully support myself in college? I really need some real world advice. Is it plausible or is it highly unrealistic. What are some other things I need to consider???
