I need a day pack for just general life as a student, visiting friends and family and stuff. Some cycling. Been looking at a 32L momentum or escapist. My last backpack was a Berghaus twentyfourseven 25L, which I've had for 5 years(I'm thinking of replacing it mainly for the size but it has a few holes too). I've found I need more space for big loads (when shopping, for example). They have a 30L model which is also half the price of the ospreys. Its a big price difference. At the same time I was also thinking of getting a smaller bag(probably 13-20L) so when I dont have as much my bag isn't practically empty. Clearly if I get an osprey momentum or escapist as well as a smaller bag that's a lot of money so obviously it'd need to be worth it.
