My wife and I have been looking at getting a pool for our family, but they are $$$$$
So I have an idea and I'm not sure if it's legal. I live next to a river and I want to put a pipe down that moves the river water into my backyard. I am planing on digging a pretty substantial hole in the backyard to hold the water.
Is this legal? I mean no one owns the river as far as I know, and I will ask my landlord if the hole is ok before digging.
