I have MS, 48 years old, and only 10k in savings. I work full time, make 73k/Year but take care of my parents and pay all bills by myself. My bills (housing and medical) are appx 3200/month. I have 8% going to my 401K by weekly. I don't go out, rarely buy anything for myself including new clothes. I want to buy a home at some point but don't think I'll ever be able to save enough for one. And I'm extremely scared that if my MS gets worse I could potentially end up homeless. Does anyone have any good solid financial advice to provide a little more security in regards to my future?
