I really like getting my highlights done but it definitely takes some upkeep. Seems like 100$ each time I go. I let it all grow out natural once and once again started the blonde cycle for a self confidence boost. I tried doing it myself and it was a disaster and ended up paying more to fix it. I don't like the look of just a flat box dye bleach it grows out looking super trashy. I tried the beauty school and was tortured for 5 hours and it didn't look very good. I tried trimming my own hair and thought it looked great until I wore it straight and realized the hack job i did.
Any other fake blondes on here and what do you do?
I would like to go every 3 months but usually ends up being once a year. Am I being too frivolous? Should I just abandon the blonde? Is there a cheaper way?
