I'm really curious how you guys got started in the world of investing? What kind of resources did you use to learn and how long did you take before jumping in?
I've been interested in investing for some time and the more I learn the more excited and interested I get on the subject.
I'm 26 and doing a pretty good job with my personal finance, have no debt and I manage to save at least $1.000/month to go towards potential investments.
I just opened a brokerage account and want to start building my portfolio but I still feel like I don't know enough to feel like my investments wouldn't be partially speculative.
Are there any books you would recommend reading/studying? Any other kind of advice you'd give to novice investors like me when getting started ?
