Hi there!
I recently stumbled upon this subreddit and I really love some tips I read here !
But I do have a problem, and I hope you can help me with it.
I use a money-management app, it's an App where I track all my expenses and my income. I broke my yearly expenses down to a month, for example if I pay 600€ a year for car insurance, I split it to 50€ a month.
Now, I really put in every receipt I get immediately, I think it is correct. But I do want to check if I made a mistake or not. It is kind of a problem when my App tells me "you have 500 euros left" and my bank account says: "Dude, you forgot the 495 expense !" I tried it with a excel sheet where I listed all the yearly payments broken down to monthly again, and then add it to my current REAL account balance. But this isn't really the best way. Or maybe I should just start with a new setup for this app, since we have a new year. But then again I would lose all my statistics and data of 2016.
Does anyone here have a tip for me :)?
Regards
J
