Not sure if this is the best place to post, but I do value the opinions and experiences of those in this sub.
Has anyone just uprooted and moved to a new area on a whim?
I'm 27, no debt, single, low expenses, have about $30k in savings with some additional in retirement accts. Not happy with my current job (like many) and just feel stagnant with where I am in life. I understand moving won't just magically fix everything, but maybe a change of scenery will help. Currently live in south jersey (born and raised), targeting an area more favorable to outdoor activities and anything fitness related.
I don't own many things so the move would be easy in that regard. The goal throughout all of this would be to keep it that way and continue to simplify my life wherever possible. I also have a roommate in a similar situation who would likely join me.
Hoping to hear from those who have done something like this and how it worked out!
