In my case, Fred Meyer offers $4.95 to gather all the groceries you order online and have them ready for curbside pickup.
I probably spend way too long in the store generally, not a good use of my time. But I'll still spend a little time online ordering. It also seems like with a per-order fee, it's not sensible for just a few things.
But I know it's easy to be stupidly frugal, like driving across town wasting time and gas just to get cheaper gas price. Maybe $5 is worth it to not deal with the hassle of shopping in the store.
When should I or shouldn't I use this service? Thoughts?
