I've just updated my prescription and I need to replace my lenses. I have a pair of frames already, and I'd like to get high-index lenses with anti-glare. They also need to be progressive bifocals as well.
There are lots of places to get frames online, or frames and lenses, but I'm not seeing a whole lot of options for just lenses. One is Framesdirect.com, but their pricing is not obvious to me, and another is LensFactory, which seems a little more transparent. Some of the other "lenses only" places seem a little shaky.
Does anyone have experience just ordering replacement lenses, and what would you say is the most frugal approach (not necessarily the cheapest, but the best overall value)?
