I have a dilemma. I had to throw my bed away because of bed bugs. Got rid of virtually all of my stuff and did the treatment. 80% of my emergency saving I built up in 4 years are gone :_( Renter insurance didn't cover treatment or damages. My friend got a really cheap old air matress he lent me. It was like a couple of years old. It's comfortable and sturdy, but the wear and tear is getting a bit too much. I need a new one. I was happy to know that they come cheap
I can't really afford a new full sized mattress much less a frame, box spring, and comforter set. I have a $15 mattress topper, two pillows, and a $5 blanket. Yeah, I am not going to get mattress from bargain shops because I can't do delivery and I don't want to risk it. I see a few alternatives.

What would you recommend, Frugal? What is your recommendation and experience for each of these bedding alternatives?
