Western Union forfeited $586 million in settlement with the FTC and Justice Department. The money will be used to reimburse consumers who were victims of fraud from 2004 to 2012.
Persons who believe they were victims can refer to the Department of Justice’s victim website for instructions on how to request compensation through the Victim Asset Recovery Program.
