Hi all,

I work within the Australian financial planning & wealth management industry and come from a family of medical specialists. Increasingly my family's friends within the medical field are approaching me about financial matters after seeking advice from other financial planners and it amazes me that (1) the fees being charged are so high & (2) the advice quality is questionable because the uniqueness of the medical profession is misunderstood.

I greatly value the medical community and I'm keen to start a discussion about financial planning matters that are important to the medical community (whether that is about the benefits of negative gearing, establishing a medical practice, salary packaging, insurance options, investment approaches and more) however I'm interested in hearing directly from the medical community about what matters most to them and what they would like to hear more about.

Whilst in my mind I'm clear on what matters I feel are important to address for all interns, registrars & consultants, I wondered whether there was anyone out there with any questions that I could address directly?

I'd greatly appreciate hearing what these are, so please let me know!
