Faribault Mill has some scarves marked down to $25. These marked down scarves are final sale and standard shipping is $10. You can use code NEWSLETTER15 for 15% off (or $3.75 off one scarf), for a total of $31.75 shipped.
Last year I bought their Glenwood Twill Wool Scarf for a higher sale price and love it. It's MiUSA, soft for wool (not as soft as cashmere) and warm. Here's another review from /u/Ferox745:
The quality of this scarf is excellent. The composition is 80% Merino Wool and 20% Cotton. It has whip-stitched edges, soft fabric, a very interesting fabric texture, and is made entirely in America. Apparently, Faribault used a method of construction similar to their blankets. This scarf is extremely warm and thick. It is also 72", longer than most men's scarves which tend to be a bit too short at 60". If you're looking for a thick wool scarf, I'd definitely give them a look as they have a number of nice blanket-style patterns. The only downside is that it is harder to tie interesting knots with a scarf this thick.
