Hey guys,
I have been in the market (Fairly successfully, touch wood) for a couple years and still cannot under the value of a stock and why.
I understand :
Each stock is a piece of a company That stocks's value is based solely on what someone else is willing to sell it for not in fact what the stock is "worth"
What I can't understand is how is there someone always buying and selling your stocks? What happens in a crash? Who is buying all of these awful falling stocks? And when a stock like Tesla or Apple on the rise, when big hedge funds or player like Warren Buffet some in and buy Billions of dollars of a stock how is there any left? Is there not a point where you just cannot find that many stocks?
I guess maybe it's ELI5- the stock market.
Thanks !
