** In order to double-dip, the website you are buying from has to participate in both Ultimate Rewards from Chase and eBates ** This loophole works because all the company cares about is that you click the referral link through their site onto the site that you are buying from. Once that click goes through, your "shopping trip" is activated and that is how sites like eBates make their money.

Log-on to eBates through their website portal or through the Google Chrome Extension.

Visit the site you wish to purchase from through the eBates portal. By doing this, you are activating the "Shopping Trip", thus proving you have clicked through to the site via the eBates portal. This can be seen under the "Shopping Trips" link on the top right arrow-down menu from eBates main site.

Log-on to the site you are shopping from and add-to-cart whatever you want to buy.

Close the browsing window/tab you have open for the shopping site.

Log-on to Ultimate Rewards from Chase, and located the Shop with Chase link under the Earn Points tab.

Click through to the shopping website through the Chase portal.

Complete your purchase via the Chase portal. Wait for confirmation e-mail with your order.

Return back to the eBates website and log-on. Find the "Shopping Trips" link and located the shopping trip that you had activated earlier. From there, click HELP which is a floating box on the lower right side of the site. Locate the link that says "Where's My Cash?"

Follow the instructions and fill out the form. Once you have selected the date of your purchase, the "Shopping Trip" information should automatically populate the box. Once you have submitted the form, your cash back will be added onto your account automatically! The information needed is simple to find: subtotal, copy/paste confirmation e-mail, etc.
Note: Sometimes an eBates rep. needs to manually review the order, which isn't a problem. The Cash Back should come in within a few hours.
