So, since Tim Cook has been in charge, it seems the only thing Apple did that everyone liked was make a bigger version (and a biggerer version) of the iPhone.
Otherwise, we have: Apple Pencil - Has anyone seen anyone with one of these? Apple Watch - I've seen maybe 15 of these since it was released outside of an Apple store. IPad Pro - I haven't seen one of these outside an Apple store Apple car that was then cancelled because everyone quit and now it's going to be a software OEM integration, but it's nowhere near ready to even talk about yet. And then he got rid of the headphone jack.
Steve Jobs said that stock buy backs and dividends were just gimmicks and didn't actually add any value to the company. Since Cook's been in charge, they do an awful lot of both. I respect that he stood up the FBI, but when is the board going to get around to firing him?
Am I missing something great they did?
