Hello everyone. 38/m here and I'm finally about to tackle this debt that has been eating away at me.

Totally my fault but it's been a mountain that I thought was helpless to even try to start climbing. Feeling like I don't have enough to barely make the minimums and using the "I just got divorced" excuse to buy whatever I want, I've identified some inappropriate spending habits and used an app to do some number crunching.

It looks like by paying $400 extra to my debt and using the snowball method, I can be debt free by 2020. This is only three years. This means that I will be living on $400 per month for spending money. So... Off to /r/frugal i go.

I make about $4600 per month and I can't believe that because of bad spending I will only get to use $400 of that each month. It's my own fault. However I have a pretty comfortable life with everything I could ever need... (Because I already bought it all) now I just need to man up and pay for it.

http://ift.tt/2ifkRxr is my payoff plan.

Thanks for all the helpful posts and motivation... I've been lurking around here and finally bit the bullet. Here goes nothing!!
