The more I grow older and come closer to college I realize more and more what a scam it is. Yes I know, education has value. But these days, man, it seems like a joke. Taking classes like biological anthropology and kinesthesiolopgy with textbooks that are 260 bucks for info that benefits me in no way shape or form. To get into thousands of dollars worth of debt and jump right into the rat race by the time in 22.
I know this isn't what I want and I want an alternative, but I just don't know any that don't sound like I'm basically telling my parents I'm dropping out, getting dreads and moving into a van with no life plan.
Just a smart simple honest stress free peaceful existence. Is that too much to ask in this society? I barely know what the point of this is, or what I'm even asking, but I just want to see what you all think about this. Sorry for the rant.
