So I've never used a car wash, but just have used dish detergent to wash my car.
I come to find out, I should have used real car wash and wax soap. It was like $10 to get a bottle of Meguiar's wash and wax (yellow bottle). The stuff will last years from one bottle, only need one ounce per gallon of water. We washed three cars with one ounce of the the car wash shampoo.
Anyway, I did first wash my car with the detergent, thought it was okay clean. Then used the Meguiar's and it's like another layer of dirt was found. It was pretty amazing.
Coworker told me about this wash and wax.
