Okay, I run a small Facebook page and have recently been asked by another page to promote their upcoming event for a flat-rate amount for each picture/video I promote.
Now, as many of you know, Facebook doesn't have any escrow service and I've seen in the past where people on social media sites have completed their part of the deal under the illusion of payment but receive nothing.
Is it best to ask for payment first or should I use a service to finalize the deal?
edit: a bit more context, I'm a UK student and this is for a nightlife event. Payment is not a not a significantly large sum but, uh, I'm a student.
