Short story: Been working for a year in a call centre talking about Life/Investment/Pension products and my manager is offered professional qualifications, what should I ask for and what is the journey like to become an IFA? I would love to be one.
Long story: Currently taking calls in an insurance call centre and been doing pretty well. Offered me doing either CII (I think they called it) or LF1, my manager asked me if I want to become a financial advisor and now it keeps bothering me because I love providing customers with all the information about their current products (efficiently) but also see the career prospect in being a financial advisor as a great prospect. If it helps to know I have a 2:2 in a BA Hons in Business Management also (not amazing) but it's only after university I've gained a passion in doing qualifications to have a career.
Thanks as always to you redditors for being kind enough to provide your thoughts, a reason to love the internet.
