Without sounding like a sob story, my family home got broken into on Christmas Eve and the little scumbags took all of our laptops and tablets. The insurance is covering most of it, however it looks like they aren't going to cover everything. Most notably my laptop.
- Any advice on buying Laptops frugally?
- Is it best to go used and try and get something dirt cheap?
- Are refurbished Laptops any good and where is best to buy them?
I don't need anything beastly, just simple stuff like:
- Streaming movies
- Light photo/gif editing
- Skype
- Internet browsing
