So my friend wants to sell me his iPhone. The problem is that it's not fully paid off. He got it from Verizon with a contract and has to pay it off over a certain period of time. Recently, he has had some financial troubles and wants to sell the phone. He is offering it to me at a great price. If he stops making payments on the phone (and doesn't fully pay it off), would I be able to activate it on my account and use it? Would it be blacklisted? I also have a Verizon account
Only posted in this sub because buying a used phone is frugal and wasn't sure what other sub to post in. I thought you guys may have experience with buying used cell phones.
