I’m trying to get a US passport and apparently I have to use a check to pay the department of state. I’ve never used a check before, and I only have one that my bank gave me when I set up my account. I’m stupid and I accidentally wrote my signature on the endorse line on the back because I’ve only ever cashed checks and just wasn’t thinking. I realized you’re not supposed to do that and I scratched it out. Will they still accept my check? It’s literally my only one.
