Is there an reason that I shouldn’t just do all of my retirement savings in a Roth 401k if my company has a low fee and I like the investment options? I’m not someone who is going to pick stocks or anything, I am just going to pick a target date fund. It seems easier for me to have my retirement savings just come out of my paycheck every 2 weeks instead of me moving money around and buying more target date fund every month.

Sure when I change jobs I’ll roll over to a roll over roth IRA but it seems unnecessary to have a Roth 401K for the match, but then the IRA to the maximum amount then go back to the 401K.

What am I giving up for just having all of my savings in one account that is managed by payroll and I won’t forget to save for some month.
