Situation I’ve never heard of or ran into before. I received a refund check with my final statement in the mail after I moved out. They refunded me about 75% of my deposit. Fast forward 2 months and I get an email and letter stating I owe the exact same amount that I was refunded. I plan on going to the apartment office first thing when they open, I just don’t know the best way to proceed.
