I've had success with one of my recent options strategies and shared the news with a few of my financially inclined friends. One of them asked me if I was willing to take their money and invest it for them. My immediate reaction was no, not just from a liability standpoint, but also the risk that it would tarnish the relationship. Dialing back a bit my main concern now is legal risk; say my friend is unhappy with their returns and decided to sue.
Would a joint / investment club account mitigate this risk?
I've been extremely transparent with the fact that speculating options has the potential to completely wipe out their capital. Part of me is curious if I could see more consistent returns by putting myself in a more risk adverse position.
