So, please excuse me as I’m new to this but I figured starting here would be good.
Basically, my father had a small 6K mutual fund for me from when I was a child that I recently took ownership of. This investment is in Putnam Investments www.putnam.com It seems like this money is all investmented into a mutual fund (MUTF: PNOPX) but I’m not sure I should leave it here?
I was talking to some friends that said I should probably move it to Vanguard and he more aggressive with it, but being new into this I’m not sure what is the best decision. I’m in the process of transferring these funds to vanguard but before I finish this, is this the wise choice?
And when I do transfer, what should I invest this in to grow it long term more aggressively? I’m 32, so I have time! But would love to work towards something.
Thanks
