As a (20) young adult, who knows very little about investing, all I've heard is that you buy low and sell high. A strategy where, if I understand this correctly, an investor (in this case me) invests in stocks when they are at what is believed to be a low price and then sells them later at a higher price.
I'm in a position now where I have a decent amount saved up and can afford to spend a bit, I know this isn't a get rich quick type deal, it's a long term thing and you could be waiting awhile before you make some of your money back.
I don't even know where to go to buy stocks, any advice of feedback ya'll can give me would be greatly appreciated. Idk if it matters but I live in New Zealand.
