What's going on with the cost of prescription medicine? My prescription went up in price once last year and at the beginning of this year. Now it went up in price again and it is fully 250+percent over the price just one year ago.
Costplus didn't carry the drug earlier, but now does. However, reviews of the company are pretty bad.
Goodrx lowers the price somewhat, but even the goodrx price has gone up tremendously.
Here are some tips I would suggest (they all don't work for me):
- Goodrx
- Samples from your doctor
- Manufacturer coupons
- Insurance sometimes has mail-in pharmacies that are cheaper
Also, be nice to your healthcare providers! There is nothing I like better than giving out bags of sample meds to patients I like. :)
