My brother had his first baby (girl) recently. He got some money from different members of the family for that.
My brother wants to invest the money, and came to me for advice. Honestly, I have no clue what to tell him, so I came here.
What would you buy to hold for the next 18 years?
I should add that neither my brother, nor I, are especially investment savvy. I.e. we know what bonds and stocks are, but anything a bit more sophisticated - well, it will help to explain it slowly :)
