I couldn’t remember the answer to a security question and it locked my account. Unfortunately it seems to have paused my Series I bond purchase. TreasuryDirect’s wait times are notoriously bad. I called at 8am when they opened and I am receiving a message they are no longer taking phone calls today because of the number of calls and amount of time before they close. Lol, this brings new meaning to poor customer service. I don’t know if that’s true or if they just forgot to turn off that message? Anyway, RIP my chances of getting another bond at 9%.
