I went in for a consultation for aligners and I didn’t read the fine print - nothing seemed like it was happening yet and it really sounded like they would wait until they heard from my insurance to charge me, but the next day I had the full charge on my credit card. I now have a customer support ticket in requesting to cancel the whole thing, and I’ve been told it will be 15 business days until someone gets back to me.

If I am able to get the charge reversed, what happens to the interest that accrues? Do I still have to pay it? Should I just pay the whole bill to prevent the interest? If I do that, what happens to my balance if the charge is reversed?
