Posting on behalf of a friend.
My friend’s husband just passed away May 1. She filed a claim through a work accident insurance policy for her husband’s hospitalization a few weeks prior to his death. The claim was approved and a check is being sent to my friend but it’s made out to her deceased spouse. Can she cash the check? They did bank together on the same bank account if that matters.
