Long story short I have to move out not asap, but ideally soon.
I have finally found an apartment that looks good to me. Which is such a challenge honestly.
So I make 53k a year, take home is 3208 a month. I have very few obligations. 312 car payment, which I plan on refinancing to lower the payment, and 129 for car insurance. 68 a month for phone, and about 70 in subscriptions.
Rent is 1485. What I didn't realize having never lived in an apartment is all the fees. 155 for "amenities" which is tv, and internet etc. 50 for "community package" which is water, sewer, trash, and then electric and gas, which I'm assuming will average 150. There is 125 parking but my boss has agreed to cover that because I'd be so close to the office he wouldn't have to pay for my car in our garage. So it'll be be about 1840 a month.
So that brings my total spend to 2419, with 789 of "free" money.
I'm counting on a raise mid year to hopefully 60-70k.
Would this be stretching my budget too far? Honestly I feel like living out of my car during this search. Ugh.
Edit: Hey thanks all for your input, you've been mostly helpful. I could've done without some of the rude comments.
Situation is my mental health is extremely low, and I'm really struggling in my situation. I wanted to get away and live alone... I'd prefer not to roll the dice on roommates again. So I was trying to talk myself into this bad situation. It wouldn't have been good, I knew it i just wanted it to work....
Anyway you've been helpful cause I don't have friends or anyone I can talk to so asking reddit seemed like my best option.
